Jordan Chiles was spotted enjoying her time off from elite gymnastics during the 2025 Rose Bowl game between Ohio State and Oregon. The gymnast won her maiden gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Chiles announced her presence at the annual Rose Bowl game through a video posted by Big One Football on Instagram and claimed she was excited to witness Oregon take on Ohio State.

"Hey guys, it's Jordan Chiles and I'm here at the Oregon vs Ohio State game for the Rose Bowl and I'm so excited," she said.

Chiles was supporting the Oregon Ducks, who suffered a heavy 21-41 defeat but nonetheless enjoyed her time with the team's official mascot, "The Duck". The 23-year-old was seen cheerfully posing with the mascot in the middle of the Rose Bowl stadium.

Chiles is set to return to UCLA Gymnastics for the upcoming season after skipping the entirety of the 2024 season to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This eventually proved fruitful with the 23-year-old returning with a gold medal from the French capital.

The 2025 NCAA Gymnastics season will kick off on Friday (Jan. 3) with a tri-state meet between Ball State, Illinois State and Southeast Missouri while Chiles' UCLA will start off by taking on California and Oregon State in the Pacific Coast Championship on the following day.

Speaking in an interview with Olympics.com ahead of her return to UCLA, Jordan Chiles credited her NCAA Gymnastics experience for her success at the Paris Olympics and claimed feeling more mature after the initial two-year stint with the Bruins.

“NCAA experience has played a huge part. Just seeing the difference in my maturity as an athlete, and also as a human, definitely helped me," she said.

The 23-year-old won two golds and one silver medal at the 2023 NCAA Gymnastics Championships. She claimed that the team culture of college gymnastics played a pivotal role in her leading the USA women's gymnastics team to gold medal triumph in Paris alongside Simone Biles.

“NCAA is all about high energy. You’re one team, one goal. With elite, it’s a little different, but keeping that same mindset definitely helped because going back into practice at [World Champions Centre], I was like, ‘Guys, we’re going to do this. We’re going to go out there, and we’re going to have fun',” Jordan Chiles added.

Chiles has earned nine All-American honors so far with the Bruins, with one team medal, a silver, from the 2023 Pac-12 Championships. She will be eager to lead the Bruins to a team trophy in 2025 with all eyes on the NCAA Championships.
