Jordan Chiles showed off the custom-made diamond grills she got done for the Olympics. Chiles was part of the US women's gymnastics team that won gold at the 2024 Paris Games.

The 23-year-old made her Olympic debut in Tokyo 2021, initially set to compete in the vault and floor exercise in the team finals but had to replace Simone Biles in the uneven bars and balance beam after the latter withdrew, citing 'twisties'. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Chiles contributed scores on all four apparatuses to the team's gold finish.

She initially earned bronze in the floor exercise finals after a score upgrade but was later ordered to return her medal after the Romanian Gymnastics Federation appealed to the CAS against the US team's late inquiry for a score change. Amid the ordeal, Chiles made several off-mat appearances in fashion and award shows, among others.

Days after, as the holiday season rang in, Chiles took to her Instagram stories to flaunt her teeth grills, captioning:

"Thank you @jimmyxboi and @donerightandco for my grills that I got custom for the Olympics !!!"

The memoir will chronicle the Olympian's journey from facing criticism as a Black athlete to dealing with the demanding nature of gymnastics to propelling herself to the global stage at the Olympics.

Her memoir will also include the Paris Olympic ordeal surrounding her floor bronze medal and how she persevered despite setbacks.

Senior Vice President and Publisher of Harper Influence Lisa Sharkey shared how Chiles left a lasting impression on her with her authenticity, powerful storytelling, and zeal.

"From the moment I met Jordan Chiles, months before the 2024 summer Olympics, I was impressed with her heart, her authenticity, her enthusiasm, and her powerful storytelling." (via People)
