The limited-edition footwear features bold hues, including bright orange with black accents and purple combined with deep blue tones, complemented by intricate grid-like overlays. The design elements strike a balance between style and functionality, appealing to consumers who value both aesthetics and performance.

The Kids of Immigrants brand was conceived in 2015 and officially launched in May 2016, spearheaded by founders Buenzo and Weleh Dennis. The current Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder collaboration reflects a seamless fusion of cultural identity and modern footwear innovation.

The collection debuted in November 2024 via SNKRS Pass in New York City, followed by a broader release through an EQL raffle on November 28, 2024, directly from the Kids of Immigrants platform.

Jordan Chiles is a two-time Olympian and a decorated gymnast with one gold and one silver Olympic medal. She also earned three medals, including one gold and two silver, at the 2022 World Championships. However, she did not compete in the women's team final at the Paris Olympics, she helped the team win the gold medal.

The Olympic medalist collaborated with Nike on several occasions. She initially introduced her Nike x Jordan Chiles Holiday 23 collection, highlighting her role in design and promotion. In September 2024, she unveiled the launch of a new design during a game event.
