Olympic double medalist Stephen Nedoroscik and his dance partner Rylee Arnold have made it to the final six of the 33rd season of 'Dancing with the Stars.' Arnold recently opened up on her bonding with the 26-year-old gymnast and how it has transformed her.
In a conversation with Access Hollywood, when asked about the bonding between the two on the sets of 'Dancing with the Stars,' Arnold said:
"I would just say we are like just best friends. Like we constantly poke fun at each other, and I'm so grateful for Stephen and everything he has given me, he's given me so much advice in life." [1:16 onwards]
Arnold also opened up on how Nedoroscik has inspired her on many occasions.
"He's been a huge inspiration to everything that I do and like truly going into the studio with him and having his positive attitude around, builds me up as a person and makes me a better person. So I'm just so grateful to have him as my partner," the 19-year-old choreographer added.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold recently impressed with their contemporary dance on the 'Halloween Nightmares Night' in the 33rd season of 'Dancing with the Stars.' The brilliant performance earned the dancing duo the first 'Perfect 10' for the season and an outstanding total of 28 out of 30, securing their ticket for the next round.
Stephen Nedoroscik on Rylee Arnold helping him fight his dancing insecurities
Stephen Nedoroscik has never hesitated to credit his dance partner Rylee Arnold for helping him overcome his insecurities related to dancing. In the interview with Access Hollywood, the 26-year-old gymnast also opened up on his equation with Arnold on the sets of 'Dancing with the Stars.'
"I mean Rylee is the best, she's the best coach. It's like we've learned each other's languages, so like when she's teaching me, she knows exactly what I need to hear. I absolutely admire that and she's also just infectiously positive, and it's like, it's like we kind of radiate positivity in the dance floor [chuckles]. So I mean, she's just an amazing person and I couldn't be luckier to have a better coach," Nedoroscik said.
The 26-year-old gymnast also talked about his dancing insecurities on a podcast with Joe Vulpis earlier this October, and how Arnold helped him.
".... I'm so lucky cause I got Rylee paired at me, and we have like very similar energy, so like immediately I was a little embarassed, cause I wan't picking up on the steps very fast, but like she saw how motivated I was, and like I was like if I'm doing this, I'm going all out...So like that's what I've been doing and I've been getting compliments from all around, and that alone just chips away those insecurities," Nedoroscik said.
Stephen Nedoroscik is now in the top six of the 33rd season of 'Dancing with the Stars.' The double Olympic medalist gymnast will now aim to make it to the semifinals to stake a claim on the coveted trophy.
