Florida Gators gymnast Kayla DiCello shared her uneven bars routine as she prepares for the 2025 season. This came during the Gators' "Hype Night" on Monday where several Gators gymnasts like Victoria Nguyen and Skylar Draser performed their drills in front of fans.
The Maryland native is currently in her second year with the Gators having taken a year off in 2024 to focus on exploring her chances of qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, an injury to her achilles during the US Olympic Gymnastics Trials spoiled her chances of making the national Olympic team.
A few months after this, DiCello returned to the Gators camp and started her preparations for the upcoming season. DiCello shared a video of her uneven bars routine on her Instagram stories. In the video, the 20-year-old can be seen donning a light blue leotard as she performs her routine meticulously.
Kayla DiCello already bagged a medal in her first year with the Gators in 2023 where she won the silver team title. For her impressive performances, she was also awarded the 2023 Southeastern Conference's Gymnastics Freshman of the Year award.
The Gators will start off their 2025 season on January 10 on home turf against Michigan State University.
