After his campaign at the Paris Olympics, American sprinting sensation Kenny Bednarek shared a fun video directed at his Indian girlfriend Sharmila Nicollet. Bednarek refers to her as his biggest supporter.

During his second Olympic appearance in Paris, the 25-year-old participated in 100m and 200m events, where he secured a silver in the latter discipline with a time of 19.62 seconds, edging out his compatriot Noah Lyles for third place. However, he failed to medal in the 100m final.

A botched baton exchange between him and Christain Coleman led to the seventh-place finish of the US team in the 4x100m relay, which later turned out to be a disqualification due to running out of the exchange zone.

After wrapping up a busy 2024 season, Kenny Bednarek is currently relishing some downtime away from the track. He recently shared a fun reel on his Instagram handle in which he took a hilarious dig at his girlfriend.

In the video, the American star could be seen holding a mug with a funny text on the screen that reads, "My girlfriend can't remember if she turned her straightener off, but she knows what I said 11 months ago at 8:52 pm." Bednarek's poker face throughout the clip adds to the humor, making it an entertaining watch.

"Who else can relate?" Bednarek wrote in the caption.

"Dear Baby Ken, You’ve come a long way since I met you when you first turned pro in 2020. Being together, working together and witnessing your journey to both Olympics and World Championships, watching you win Silver three times and making the team every single time has been nothing short of inspiring to everyone and especially to me being a professional athlete myself," she wrote in the caption.
"These achievements are more than just medals. It’s a testament to your unwavering dedication, perseverance, pushing past limits, never giving up even when the odds seemed insurmountable, and the countless sacrifices you’ve made along the way," she added.

In response, Kenny Bednarek expressed his gratitude in the comments, expressing that none of it would have been possible without her support. He also thanked her for elevating him both as a person and as an athlete.
