Letsile Tebogo reacts to his debut in part 2 of Netflix's highly anticipated documentary series featuring his Paris Olympics gold medal win

Letsile Tebogo recently shared his excitement over the release of the trailer for part 2 of Netflix's Sprint documentary, which gives complete exposure to the recently-held Paris Olympics.

Part one of the series, which was released on July 2, 2024, featured the journey of the athletes from the 2023 World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary, to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Multiple Olympians and world championship medalists featured in the first part, including Noah Lyles, Sha’carri Richardson, Shericka Jackson, Zharnel Hughes, Lamont Marcell Jacobs, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Elaine Thompson-Herah.

The series was born from the innovative minds behind the thrilling Formula 1:Drive to Survive, Tour de France: Unchained, and Full Swing. Part 2 of the series will also see multiple elite athletes featuring, including Noah Lyles, Letsile Tebogo, Gabby Thomas, Fred Kerley, Kishane Thompson, Julien Alfred, Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, Marcell Jacobs, Kenny Bednarek, Shericka Jackson, Oblique Seville at the French capital.

In a recent trailer of Part 2 of the series shared by World Athletics, the video shows Tebogo's gold medal-winning moment in the 200m event with his voice-over saying:

"It's now or never. There is no turning back."

Expressing his excitement, Tebogo reshared the video on his Instagram story.

Part 2 of the series is produced in collaboration with World Athletics and the Olympic Channel.

"We had that potential" - Letsile Tebogo reflects on winning a silver medal in the 4x400m relay at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Apart from his gold medal win in the 200m event at the French capital, Letsile Tebogo also secured a silver medal in the men's 4x400m relay event.

The Botswanian squad clocked a stunning time of 2:54.53 to finish behind the American squad, recording 2:54.43. In an interview with Olympics.com, Tebogo reflected on the victory, stating his pride in contributing to his team's feat.

“I am proud of what I did at the Olympics because it was something that was stuck in my mind, helping the guys get a silver medal," said Tebogo.
“We had always dreamed of getting a relay medal at the Olympics. Unfortunately we didn’t get the gold but I had to make sure that we had at least a medal for the 4x400m because we had that potential, and the other teams were scared of Botswana. We still want that gold medal!"

Letsile Tebogo ran the fastest anchor leg of the final with a staggering time of 43.04 seconds.
