Letsile Tebogo spoke about attempting to break the long-standing 200m world record in his upcoming race in Brussels. The 200m Olympic Champion will try to break the world record set by the legendary athlete Usain Bolt provided the conditions are optimum for him to put forward his best performance.

Maybe, when the body feels good, when the weather is perfect at Brussels. That's when we'll see how the time is going to be but I can't put a date on when I'm going to break the world record because the moment I put the date, I've already put myself under pressure," he said.

Letsile Tebogo will be making his final appearance of the Olympic season in the Diamond League finals in Brussels slated to be held on September 14 and 15, 2024.
