Lexi Rodriguez has put her jerseys up for sale as she aims to give back to the Nebraska community after the end of her four-year collegiate volleyball career. The American libero turned professional with League One volleyball's team Omaha.

Rodriguez joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers' volleyball team during the 2020 season, and though she didn't win any national championships, she was named the All-American honoree during all of her four seasons with the team. As the 21-year-old gets ready for her professional debut now, she has decided to give back to the community that cheered her on for four years.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, Rodriguez announced that she was looking to sell her signed jerseys and donate 10% of profits to a local non-profit NGO in Nebraska.

"Looking in NE for businesses, restaurants, loyal husker dans etc that are interested in buying one of my signed jerseys. Slide up with your offer."
"I want to give back to the Nebraska community that I was blessed to be a part of for 4 years. I'm also going to be donating 10% of profits to a local non-profit in Nebraska!!"

Lexi Rodriguez was poised to win her first NCAA Volleyball Championships after leading Nebraska to the Final Four. Facing the Penn State Nittany Lions in the semifinals, the Cornhuskers won the first two sets and needed just one more to reach the final before being reverse swept.

Penn State won 3-2, marking the end of Rodriguez's time at Nebraska volleyball. Speaking in the post-game interview, the 21-year-old was in tears as she bid farewell to the team she credited for changing her life.

“Every single person (that’s) a part of this program is just truly amazing people. They really changed my life. They just believed in me, every single person, every single day, from the moment I stepped on campus. You can’t find that anywhere. You truly can't," Lexi Rodriguez said.

Despite falling short in the Final Four, Rodriguez was the first libero to be named AVCA Region Player of the Year. She was also named the finalist for AVCA Player of the Year and has won the Defensive Player of the Year award three times.
