Lexi Rodriguez posted a mirror selfie with her former Nebraska Volleyball teammates, Bergen Reilly and Maisie Boesinger on social media. After playing for Nebraska, Rodriguez transitioned to professional volleyball with LOVB Omaha in December 2024.
On January 25, LOVB Omaha will face Madison at home, marking a significant moment for Rodriguez as it will be her first professional game in Omaha. following the team's earlier victories over LOVB Houston. This homecoming reunited her with former Huskers teammates.
The star player shared the selfie on Instagram in January 2025 and tagged her friends with a heartfelt caption:

Rodriguez concluded her Nebraska phase as the school's all-time leader in digs, amassing 1,897. During her tenure, she earned four AVCA All-American honors, becoming just the third player in program history to achieve this feat.
Rodriguez was also named first-team All-Big Ten four times, placing her among the conference's elite players. Her senior season stood out as she became a finalist for the AVCA National Player of the Year and the Honda Sport Award for Volleyball.

In December 2024, Lexi Rodriguez played her final match for Nebraska Volleyball against Penn State, however, the Huskers faced defeat 3-2. Shortly after, she concluded her time with the team and joined LOVB Omaha.
Following the Nebraska vs. Penn State match, Rodriguez shared her emotions during an interview with CBS Sports and expressed heartfelt gratitude toward the Nebraska Volleyball program. She gave a shout-out to her teammates and coaches, for providing constant support and belief in her abilities from the first day.
Reflecting on her journey, Rodriguez said, via NCAA:
"All my teammates, all the coaches, every single person, a part of this program just truly amazing people, and they really changed my life. And they just believed in me, every single person, every single day, from the moment that I stepped on campus, and you can't find that anywhere, you truly can't. So, I'm just so grateful for everyone, and I'll say it for my entire life that his program was the best thing that ever happened to me."
