Lindsey Vonn recently opened up about the political situation in the United States as she remains busy in Europe for her skiing races.

In a recent interview, Vonn shared that her focus currently is on skiing and the finishing line while competing in a race and stated this is the thing that she loves about skiing. She also remarked about the situation in the US and commented that it is not positive. Vonn said (via MySanAntonio.com):

"There’s a lot going on in the U.S. and not all of it positive. So I’m just excited to kind of have a break. That’s what I love about ski racing — that when I’m in the starting gate, that’s all I’m thinking about. I’m not thinking about the world and my life and what else is going on. I’m just thinking about going fast and I like that simplicity."

During the interview, Vonn also shared her opinion on the US government banning the popular short video app, TikTok and stated that she is quite old for these sort of platforms.
