American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn was recently seen in her needle therapy sessions amid a little break from her skiing. The 40-year-old last competed in the World Cup event in St Moritz, Switzerland.
Since then, Vonn has spent time celebrating the holidays. However, she is back to her recovery sessions as she looks forward to her upcoming races.
She took to her Instagram handle to share a glimpse of her therapy session. In the post, Vonn's abdomen area could be seen filled with several needles. Needle therapy is generally used to diagnose and treat several types of pain involving the abdomen and muscles.
"I am porcupine," Vonn remarked in the caption.
The 40-year-old was also seen in a similar type of session last month just before her first ski race. Since her knee surgery last year, Vonn has been frequently spotted in several therapy sessions including the knee rehab processes.
Lindsey Vonn concluded her 2024 with a glimpse of her on the beach
Lindsey Vonn expressed her thoughts in a social media post as she prepared for the start of 2025.
She took to her Instagram handle to post a picture of her from a beach where she could be seen in a white dress. In the caption, the Minnesota native penned down a note and reminisced about the hurdles she had to overcome over the year. She also expressed her thankfulness to be able to move forward in this journey which she termed as 'life'. She wrote:
"2024… what a year! I overcame things I never thought I could, I enjoyed life, had some hard times, amazing times, memories that will stay with me forever and some hard times I’d like to forget… but I’m thankful to be here on this journey called life. Thank you 2024…. Time to move on to 2025."
The 40-year-old navigated a year of ups and downs in 2024 in which she went through a major knee surgery in April.
However, Vonn made a smashing comeback to the skiing circuit and also competed in her first FIS Ski World Cup event since 2019. Notably, Vonn also became a part owner of the National Women's Soccer League team, Utah Royals FC.
