Two-time Olympic medalist Stephen Nedoroscik has penned a heartwarming tribute to his Dancing With The Stars partner Rylee Arnold. She choreographed the gymnast throughout the show. It ended with the duo securing an impressive fourth place in the finals.
Nedoroscik joined season 33 of the dance reality show following his Paris Olympics campaign, where he played a pivotal role in the outstanding performance of the US men's gymnastics team. After weeks of entertainment, Dancing With The Stars concluded on Tuesday, November 26, with a captivating finale.
Arnold and Nedoroscik earned the season's first perfect score of 30 during the Freestyle Round. Despite their remarkable performance, they concluded their DWTS journey with a fourth-place finish, ending on a high note. After the finale, Nedoroscik took to his Instagram account to share a heartfelt tribute to his dance partner who guided him throughout the competition:
"The perfect way to end this unforgettable journey. I’m a Pommel Horse specialist. I had never danced, performed with emotion, or had to be delicate. Rylee, I feel so lucky to have had you by my side. Your positivity, kindness, and determination made every second of this experience worthwhile.
Looking back on our first rehearsals, when I was timid, to now ending the show with a perfect score, it is unbelievable what you have taught me. Thank you for not only being the best dance partner, but also an indispensable friend. Cheers to all the kick ball pains, quahs, “just kidding”s, car rides, and burps."
Contestants performed two routines in the finals, including a Redemption Round followed by a Freestyle Round.
