The LSU Tigers kicked off their 2025 season with a record-breaking home opener, entering the campaign as defending champions. The squad locked horns with Iowa State for their first season faceoff on Friday, January 3, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The Purple and Gold squad welcomed 12,324 fans inside the PMAC for the season opener marking the largest home opener in program history.
