Lindsey Vonn claimed that she had a lot of fun when the she attended the Madrid Open 2024 and cheered on her favorite tennis players during the past couple of days.

Earlier on 24th March, the 39-year-old attended the matches of World No. 1 Iga Swiatek and Danish sensation Carolina Wozniacki. While the latter lost the match to Errani, the Swedish star cruised to victory against X. Wang.

A day later, Vonn was seen cheering on Rafael Nadal and Coco Gauff, who featured in their first tournament game. As the Spaniard warmed up on the clay court, the former Olympic champion watched the action unfold a few meters away in the stands. She wrote:

"Man, I love tennis! It was my first time attending the Madrid Open and it did not disappoint! I had so much fun cheering on my friends and getting to spend some quality time with them as well. It was a win all around. Thank you to @mutuamadridopen , @danielahantuchova and @laureussport for the Hospitalty. 🙏🏻 I hope to come back some time soon."

Both Nadal and Gauff won their respective matches, making it a day worth celebrating for the alpine skiing legend. She has now expressed her delight in an Instagram post that also documented her time at the Madrid Open 2024.

The 39-year-old was amazed at watching the breathtaking action unfold on the tennis court, which made her an even bigger fan of the sport. She also hoped to return soon to watch the tennis stars action again.

Lindsey Vonn has been a lifelong admirer of Tennis’ one of the greatest, Roger Federer. The three-time Olympic medalist recently got the opportunity to ski with Federer, and couldn't contain her happiness on the matter.

Vonn posted a video of herself with Federer in February 2024 and the two could be seen posing together after a skiing session. The 39-year-old claimed that she had admired Federer for so many years, not just for his athletic achievements but for his ‘philanthropist’ nature as well.

"I finally got to ski with my friend Roger… yes, @rogerfederer! Have to take some time to really reflect on what it this means to me… I have admired Roger as an athlete, philanthropist and incredible champion for so many years.", she claimed.

Lindsey Vonn later revealed that Roger Federer would be her forever GOAT not because of the Swiss legend’s stats, but because of the impact he had on Vonn's life.
