"So, if y'all didn't know, your girl purchased a house, so come with me. I have already done a couple of videos, but this one really took me out. Masai Russell stunned everyone with her performance at the Paris Olympics. She edged out defending Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in a closely contested race to win the gold medal in women's 100m hurdles.
Masai Russell opens up about the importance of early-season race victories
For Masai Russell, the 2024 season has been nothing but phenomenal. She recently opened up about the importance of the early meets in a season.
In an interview with the Citius Mag, Russell emphasized why she focused on improving her mistakes in the early races, before going all out for the major championships. She said.
"I think I am a very secure person in my abilities. So although it may not look flawless in April, like best believe when we get to USA, it's going to be perfected. So, I'm okay with taking the hits and maybe not winning earlier in the season to work on those smaller things to make sure that they are fixed going into the Championship cycle." [12:18 onwards]

She will also take part in Olympic legend Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track League.
