Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston are American skateboarders who recently clinched medals in the Men's Street Skateboarding event at the Paris Olympics 2024. This happened during the third day of the quadrennial event in the French capital.

Eaton produced some superb performances during the best trick section of the event and finished the competition with a staggering 281.04 points to become the first American to clinch an Olympic silver medal in the Men's Street Skateboarding event. The 23-year-old lost out to Japan's Yuto Horigome who defended his Olympic title with a tally of 281.14 points.

Huston, on the other hand, took home the bronze medal with 279.38 points. This marked the 29-year-old’s first Olympic medal in his second Olympic appearance.

Despite both Eaton and Huston encountering difficulties in their final best trick attempts, their strong performances in the first two chances, where they both achieved scores in the 90s, proved crucial.

Huston, 29, was born in California in the year 1994 to Adeyami Huston and Kelle Huston. His father was an avid lover of skateboarding and was the one who introduced Huston to the sport.

Eaton, on the other hand was born in Mesa, Arizona on February 21, 2001. His father Geoff Eaton is the owner of a skateboarding school named, Kids That Rip Skateboard School, and his mother, Shelly Schaerer was an elite gymnast who competed for the United States national team. He also has a younger brother named, Jett Eaton.

Huston primarily received his education through homeschooling under the guidance of his mother because they lived in a very enclosed culture, separate from the dominant American culture.
