Marcel Hirscher is an Austrian-born Alpine skier and two-time Olympic gold medalist, who is set for a comeback at the 2024-25 Alpine Skiing World Cup. In the upcoming season, Hirscher will represent his mother's country Netherlands.

Hirscher, 35, is one of the most decorated male skiers in the history of the discipline. Across his decorated career, he has clinched numerous prestigious titles including three Olympic medals, two gold, and a silver.
The Salzburg native also has an impressive feat of seven gold medals at the Alpine Skiing World Championships. Besides, he also has four silver medals to his name in this event.
Hirscher's dominance in the Skiing World Cup was second to none during his prime years. He has registered 67 World Cup wins so far in his career, which places him second on the men's all-time list of having the most World Cup wins. He is just behind Sweden's Ingemar Stenmark, who leads the chart with 86 victories.
