Former Nebraska Volleyball star Merritt Beason recently shared glimpses of her new fit. This comes just ahead of her pro team, Atlanta Vibe's clash against San Diego Mojo on Thursday (Jan 30) at the Viejas Arena.
Her side is coming after a dominant win against Vegas Thrill last Thursday, where they won the clash by a margin of 3-1. Beason played three sets in the match out of the four and scored three kills, while also inflicting three digs.
Beason recently took to her Instagram handle to post a picture of her Church look in her story. In the post, she can be seen wearing a black top along with a tiger-printed shrug and complementing it with black pants. She added in the caption:
"this morning church fit"

Merritt Beason's Nebraska teammate Leyla Blackwell will be representing the San Diego Mojos during the clash on Thursday. Blackwell has 15 sets so far in her pro career and has scored 23 kills.
Nebraska Cornhuskers coach John Cook shares kind words for Merritt Beason during her time at the program

Nebraska Cornhuskers Volleyball coach John Cook heaped praises on Merritt Beason. Beason played two seasons under Cook in 2023 and 2024 before starting her professional journey with Atlanta Vibe.
In an interview, Cook termed Beason as a 'gift' for the sheer effort and work she puts in for the program. Additionally, Cook also mentioned that Beason's major objective is to give back to the Nebraska Volleyball program. John Cook said (via Hurrdat Sports):
"Merritt is a gift. Those people are hard to find in this world anymore, people that are servants and want to give back. I just think that is the greatest example of how I can explain to people what Merritt brings to our team. "
With Beason as an outside hitter, Cook's side reached the finals of the 2023 NCAA Championships but lost to Texas Longhorns. Beason failed to provide a substantial contribution in the match and scored just three kills with four attack errors.
They also reached the semis of the tournament last year but Penn State Nittany Lions managed to beat the Huskers to shatter their National Championship dreams. Beason scored eight kills during this final four match.
