Michael Phelps' wife Nicole shared her reaction to a fun quiz related to the swimmer in her latest Instagram story. The couple celebrated their youngest son Nico's first birthday on January 11.

The two first met in 2007 but their relationship was on-and-off. After finding their way back to each other, the couple got engaged in 2015 and tied the knot in 2016. Since then, they have welcomed four sons, Bommer, Beckett, Maverick, and Nico.

Besides parenting and running the Michael Phelps Foundation together, the couple often share their support for each other on social media.

On January 21, 2025, an Instagram page Alltroo posted a few facts about the 23-time Olympic gold medalist, asking followers to guess whether they were true or false. The first statement that said Phelps started swimming at 12 was wrong since he began as early as seven. The fact about his Olympic gold medal count turned out correct but the next claim that the swimmer has a chihuahua named Onyx was incorrect.

Nicole shared the post in her Instagram story delighted by the fun quiz.

"I love this!!" Michael Phelps's wife wrote.

The Phelps family recently celebrated their youngest member Nico's first F1-themed birthday. Dressed as a racer, the little boy enjoyed with his brothers, parents, grandparents, and Allison Schmitt, inquisitive about everything lying around. His mother shared a photo series on Instagram and wrote:

"And just like that… we have a 1 year old. Happy Birthday Nico. You love your brothers and your puppies, cottage cheese, blueberries and being outside. We’re grateful for your first lap of life together."

Nico was a regular in the Phelps couple's social media posts at the Paris Games, either going out for coffee with his mother or accompanying his father for swims.
