American alpine ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin recently reacted to the Denver Broncos clinching the NFL playoff spot. The Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday by a dominating margin of 38-0 to reach their first playoff since 2015 when they won their third Super Bowl Championships.

Broncos' quarterback Bo Nix played a crucial part during the feature and scored four touchdowns to take down the last Super Bowl champion. Additionally, Marvin Mims Jr (two TDs), Courtland Sutton and Devaugn Vele also made crucial contributions during the match.

Just a few hours later, Shiffrin took to her X handle to share a video of a Broncos player celebrating their victory with the fans. She added three emojis as the caption to express her joy at the victory.

Mikaela Shiffrin has been a big fan of the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. The American alpine ski racer is currently out of the slopes due to a crash she faced back on November 30 during the Vermont leg of the FIS Ski World Cup. She has been going through several recovery sessions since then including the hyperbaric chamber. Recently, she hinted at her comeback to the slopes in the coming weeks after a month's absence.

Mikaela Shiffrin recently explained the pre-race rituals that she follows before every event.

In an interview, Shiffrin revealed that her rituals before a race include routine warmup sessions which help her body to be warm. Additionally, she also advised other skiers to have a pre-race warmup routine even if that includes basic routines. She said (via Gear Junkie):

"On race day, I go through the normal warmup and everything. Make sure [my] body’s feeling good and warm and limber. The older I get, the longer that warmup takes. I definitely suggest [a warm-up] for anyone going skiing. Some people think, “Oh, I’m not doing anything too intense. I can just go out there. I suggest doing a warm-up always even if it’s 15 minutes of some basic movement, core work and mobility."

Speaking during the conversation, Mikaela Shiffrin also revealed that she uses nearly 80 skis across a routine season and that she also has different types of skis for different skiing conditions.
