Mondo Duplantis and his fiancée Desire Inglander celebrated Halloween in spectacular fashion, first by dressing up as Hollywood actors and then viral characters from the 2024 Paris Olympics. Duplantis was dressed up as the Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec while the Swedish model imitated Australian breakdancer RayGun.

Duplantis and Inglander got engaged during a romantic shoot with Vogue Scandinavia in East Hampton, New York. They dated for four years before he surprised her with a proposal on a sandy beach in East Hampton.

The couple has been enjoying their time together since, and recently dressed up in various hilarious costumes on Halloween. They first emulated the star cast of the iconic Hollywood movie 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith', a tradition they have been following since 2022.

They had previously dressed up as the lead cast of 'Ratatouille" in 2023 and 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' in 2022.

Duplantis and Inglander added more color to their Halloween after dressing up as Yusuf Dikec and RayGun, respectively. While Dikec went viral for his one-handed shooting style, the Australian breakdancer was trolled heavily over her performance at the Paris Olympics.

Duplantis won the Olympic gold medal in Paris, his second, after setting a new world record of 6.25m.

Mondo Duplantis had planned for several weeks before finally finding the right moment to propose to his girlfriend Desire Inglander. However, when he started looking for the ring, nervousness engulfed all over him. The Swede said afterwards he had never been so nervous in his entire life, not even at the Olympic games.

"I can safely say it’s the most nervous I’ve been in my life. I had a few lines that I thought I was going to say, but I lost my words. I completely froze," he told Vogue Scandinavia in an interview

Inglander, who claims to be a hard-to-be-surprised person, said she was 'shocked' by the sudden proposal.

“I’m still shocked. I’m such a control freak, it’s impossible to surprise me," she said

Duplantis had met Inglander at a mid-summer party in 2020 and while the latter was initially hesitant to date the former, he eventually convinced her. Following the engagement, the Olympic champion claimed knew he wanted to marry Inglander even since they met at the party in 2020.
