Desiré Inglander has always been a strong pillar of support for her fiancé, Mondo Duplantis, during his impressive pole vaulting journey. Her attendance at the Tokyo Olympics and the Paris Games showed her role as a key source of motivation for the Swedish athlete.

A memorable moment occurred in August 2024, when Duplantis broke the pole vault world record. Following his historic jump, he rushed to his fiancée on the sidelines to celebrate.

Reflecting on the milestone, she shared her pride during an interview with Swedish outlet SVT Sport, describing the moment as unreal and awesome, saying (via people.com):

"I always believe in him, but it is probably more that it is so unreal. It was awesome, really!"

In an interview with Vogue Scandinavia, Duplantis shared that his fiancée plays an important role in helping him balance his life. He explained how spending time with Inglander helps him to escape the pressures of his career and immerse himself in a more grounded and refreshing environment.
