Olympic champion Mondo Duplantis shared glimpses of his New Year celebrations alongside his fiance Desire Inglander. The couple were on a snowy vacation this year, as the Swedish-American pole vaulter enjoyed his off season.
Duplantis' fiance uploaded a reel of her celebrations with Duplantis on her Instagram profile. Inglander captioned the post as,
"Hello 2025"
Duplantis and Inglander have been dating each for a long time, though it was only in October 2024 that the Swedish-American pole vaulter actually got engaged with her. Duplantis had made a surprise proposal to Inglander on the photoshoot of her Vogue Scandinavian magazine, which she gladly accepted.
Duplantis uploaded a video of his celebrations for the year 2024, in which Inglander also put champagne on him. The pole vaulter captioned the video as,
"My fav from the year. this vid is one of them ones🍻"
Mondo Duplantis had previously posted about Martin 'Tiger' Beach Jr., a football player who had unfortunately passed away in the recent New Orleans attack. Duplantis paid his respects to the deceased player.
Mondo Duplantis had an eventful year in 2024. From breaking multiple world records, to getting engaged to his sweetheart, Duplantis achieved it all. He was subsequently rewarded with the title of 'European Athlete of the Year' for his remarkable achievements throughout the year.

In 2024, Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis had a blast in terms of career achievements. There was almost nothing that the Swedish pole vaulter hadn't achieved in the 2024 season.
Duplantis began the year on a solid note with a gold medal at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, with a jump of 6.05 m. At the Xiamen Diamond League, Duplantis improved his world record by jumping to the height of 6.24m.
In August 2024, Duplantis created history by winning the Olympic gold medal for the second consecutive time. Duplantis achieved the feat in style by jumping to the height of 6.25m. He also became the first Olympian since Bob Richards to have won back-to-back Olympic gold medals since 1956!
At the Silesia Diamond League, Duplantis further broke the record to 6.26m. Though he couldn't break any records at the Diamond League finals, Duplantis managed to win another gold medal at the Wanda Diamond League Finals.
