Mongolia’s uniform for the 2024 Paris Olympics has taken the world by storm. The athletes will wear the uniforms designed by the fashion brand, Michel & Amazonka, during the opening and closing ceremonies of the quadrennial games. The opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm CET on July 26, with Mongolian athletes featuring in the Parade of Nations.

The uniforms feature Olympic and national symbols, including Nine White Banners, the Olympic torch, and the Paris Olympics’ emblem. The gold medal, the flame, and Marianne have been integrated into a single logo.

In addition, the ceremonial outfits contain depictions of the sun, moon, and the Gua-Maral (a mythical deer). There is also some artwork with golden thread.

Here's a look at the stunning Mongolia uniform by Michel & Amazonka:

Michel & Amazonka is a fashion house founded in 2015 by three sisters - Michel, Amazonka, and the CEO Munkhjargal Choigaalaa. They also designed the outfits of the Mongolian athletes for the 2022 Winter Games held in Beijing.

The sisters got inspiration to sew and design from their mother and maternal grandfather, as they said in an interview with Forbes.com. Their mother was passionate about embroidery and handcrafts and used to sew pillowcases and bed throws. Meanwhile, their grandfather, a monk, often dressed in decorative clothing.
