Simone Biles' husband and the NFL player of the Chicago Bears, Jonathan Owens, reacted to the gymnasts' skills during her Gold Over America Tour training. The 27-year-old concluded her Paris Olympics campaign with four medals.
Biles impressed during the 2024 Summer Games by bagging four medals, of which three were gold and one was silver. Following her victorious journey in Paris, she launched the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour, which was first launched after the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, to celebrate the women Olympians.
However, this time the men gymansts, such as Paul Juda, Yul Moldauer, Fred Richards, Brody Malone, and Shane Wiskus, are also a part of the GOAT tour, along with the women gymnasts. The team is currently performing at Houston, which is their 23rd stop, and was performed on October 19, 2024.
Amidst this ongoing tour, Owens shared a video of Simone Biles practicing on the pommel horse on his Instagram story. The NFL player was awe-struck by his wife's impressive skills and wrote in the caption:
"No lie this is probably the most impressive thing I've seen her do, I was in awe."
He added several other updates from the tour to his story, and one of them was of him posing in front of the GOAT initials, and the caption read:
"When ya wife is the GOAT"
Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens opened up about VIP treatment at the Paris Olympics
Jonathan Owens visited Paris during the Olympic Games to witness the dominant performances of Simone Biles and to be her biggest cheerleader. Weeks after the event, Owens opened up about the treatment he received in Paris in a recent interview with Sky Sports. He unveiled that he received VIP treatment because of Biles, and he also explored the city.
"Paris was amazing," Owens said. "That was my actually my second time to Europe. But I was actually able to have a chance to just be in the culture, explore the city. It was amazing seeing everything and obviously getting a chance to watch the Olympics was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
He added:
"And you know, my wife was the star of the show. I just felt like I was spoiled, I got VIP treatment around there and really got the chance to see the city, experience the art, the culture, the history of Paris. It was amazing."
Simone Biles and her team's next stop for the Gold Over America Tour is in Fort Worth on October 20, 2024, and the tour will conclude on November 3, 2024 in Detroit.
