The Olympic gold medalist shared this touching insight during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, highlighting the deep emotional connection she shares with her pets and their impact on her stability.

Speaking about the role her dogs play in her life, Clarkson asked:

"Your dogs are a big part of your mental health?" (1:44)

The 27-year-old gymnast responded,

"For me, I feel like at the end of the day, besides coming home to my husband, my dogs, they greet me like they've never seen me before. And it's so much comfort.
"And especially after a long day, they can kind of sense how you're feeling. Each of my dogs have very different personalities. So it's very funny."

In 2021, Simone Biles opened up in an interview about her French bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo, highlighting their distinct personalities. She said Lilo, whom she flew to Florida to adopt as a puppy, is calm and relaxed. In contrast, she described Rambo, from Ohio, as hyperactive and playful.

Reflecting on her connection with dogs, the gold medalist said (via today.com),

"I grew up with dogs, so as soon as I got Lilo and Rambo, I just knew they fit right in, and it was the perfect home for them."

She fondly recalled taking Lilo to family dinners, with Rambo often imitating her behavior. She added that Rambo enjoys playing with Juice, an English bulldog owned by Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens.

In July 2024, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, thanking her pets for providing comfort during her challenging journey. Calling them her "babies," Simone Biles highlighted their role as cherished family members, beyond being just pets.

"Hi everyone. This is lilo and Rambo. It's been quite a journey to get to this place. And I wanna be here with both of them. Lilo always comforts me, and Rambo usually pumps me up. They are not just pets; they're my babies, and they give me so much joy. So, Thank you, lilo and Rambo"

The gymnast has created an Instagram page for her furry companions called 'The Biles Frenchies.' The bio notes their birth years and playfully describes them as "Texas-living troublemakers," adding, "@simonebiles is our momma."
