Jordan Chiles recently shared that she would be proud of her tenacity, which helped her qualify for a second Olympic trip. Chiles also talked about how she never doubted her gymnastic abilities and pushed herself to a limit beyond comprehension.

In the Olympic year, Chiles swept the all-around bronze at the 2024 Core Hydration Classic behind teammates Simone Biles and Shilese Jones. Her determined attempt at the 2024 US Olympic Trials earned her the most coveted Paris qualification alongside Biles and Suni Lee, the defending all-around champions.

Besides trying to bag the medals in Paris, Chiles would be proud of never giving up on her dreams or doubting her gymnastic abilities. She only wanted to take one trip to the Olympics, but her efforts at capacity rewarded her.

Jordan Chiles said to Aly Raisman in an exclusive Olympics interview:

"I think the biggest thing that's going to make me the most proud is knowing that I never gave up and I never doubted myself, or regretted anything, and kind of just pushed myself to a limit that I never thought I could push myself to. And, you know, my dream was just making it to one, but knowing that I was able to make it to two just makes it even better."

Jordan Chiles, 23, was part of the silver-winning team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. In the wake of Simone Biles' withdrawal due to 'twisties', Chiles replaced her on the balance beam and uneven bars despite not having warmed up beforehand. Her efforts also helped Team USA clinch its sixth consecutive World title at the 2022 World Championships after she contributed scores on all four apparatuses.

Florence Griffith Joyner, the fastest woman in history, was also popular for her unique fashion sense on the track, encompassing spunky athletic wear and four to six-inch-long nails. Jordan Chiles was inspired by the track legend and wanted to bring a strong fashion game to gymnastics as well.

"Okay, if she was able to do that on track, why can’t we do that in other sports?...If I can do really cool and unique fashion looks with my leotards, why can’t I also do that with my makeup or my hair?" shared Chiles. (via Bleachers Report)

Jordan Chiles recently sported Beyonce's Renaissance-inspired leotards at the 2024 US Gymnastics Championships. She even coordinated her shoes and makeup with her Swarovski-covered leotards on each day of the competition.
