Following the defeat against Penn State, Lexi Rodriguez spoke to NCAA Volleyball about what she will miss the most as her collegiate career ends. She expressed gratitude for the unwavering support she received from everyone in the Nebraska Volleyball program.
The co-captain also highlighted the unique culture of the program, calling it a lifelong source of pride and gratitude. Rodriguez said,
"Every single person, a part of this program. Just truly amazing people. And they really changed my life. And they just believed in me, every single person. Every single day from the moment that I stepped on campus. And you can't find them at anywhere. You truly can't. So, I am just grateful for every one. And I'll say it for my entire life that this program was the best thing that ever happened to me."
Nebraska Volleyball ended the 2024 season with the second-highest number of wins in the program's history in NCAA volleyball. Lexi Rodriguez took the No. 1 spot on NU’s all-time dig list, surpassing Justine Wong-Orantes who held the previous record at 1,890 digs.
