Ariarne Titmus has penned a heartfelt note for her coach Dean Boxall. The Australian swimmer reacted to her coach cheering her on during her Paris Olympics appearance in the women's 400m freestyle.
Titmus emerged as one of the top contenders for the Olympic podium after dominant performances in the heats. She competed in the Women's 200m Freestyle, 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay, 400m Freestyle, and the 800m Freestyle. She won the gold medals in the Women's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay and the 400m Freestyle. Her performance in the 400m freestyle finals received great praise from fans and enthusiasts for her dominance over Canada's Summer McIntosh and Olympic gold medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky.
The essence of the race was such that the arena erupted into cheers as the swimmers embarked on the final stretch of the race. Titmus' coach, Dean Boxall, who was present in the stadium was seen aggressively cheering her on and pumping his fists in celebration after she clinched the title.
