Harper Murray penned a heartwarming note for teammates after NCAA semifinal loss

The Nebraska Cornhuskers started the semifinal games on a positive note as they dominated the first two sets against the Penn State Nittany Lions. However, the latter turned the game around in the third round onward, as they picked up their pace to book a spot in the finals with scores of 25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 28-26, and 13-15.

Following this loss, Harper Murray penned an emotional note for her team as she reflected on the entire journey and exuded pride in her teammates. She extended her gratitude for her team's support in tough times and wrote:

"I have never been more proud.This group of girls helped me find a smile that I thought was gone forever and I am so damn proud. Being surrounded by people who refuse to give up on you and stay by your side is the biggest gift of all time," Harper murray wrote.

She added:

"I love this team with all of my heart and am forever grateful for every memory we have together. Volleyball isnt about wins, losses, kills, stats...its about finding the positive and being proud of the growth we have made as people and to enjoy what we did together. gbr forever see u next year."
