Jordan Chiles has shared pictures from her Christmas celebration, where she can be seen dressed in a stylish all-white outfit. The gymnast wrapped up her 2024 season after performing at the Gold Over America Tour.
Chiles had a roller-coaster 2024 season, as she won a team gold medal at the Paris Olympics before being stripped of her bronze medal at the Games. The 23-year-old is currently enjoying her holiday season and has shared some glimpses of it.
In an all-white knitted co-ord set, Chiles posed in front of a decorated Christmas tree. The post's caption read:
"Roses are red, Christmas is white, never thought I’d be this pretty tonight 🎄 "
Jordan Chiles won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics in the team all-around event. She and her team stood atop the podium after besting Italy and Brazil, who secured second and third place, respectively.
Following this, Chiles competed in the floor exercise, where she initially earned a fifth-place finish. But after her coach, Cecile Landi, made an appeal to the judges about missing one of her skills, she was given the third position.
The Romanian gymnastics officials then filed a complaint that Landi was four seconds late in making the appeal, and Chiles was later stripped of her bronze medal, falling to fifth place. Months after this, the gymnast has made a huge announcement of releasing her own memoir.
Jordan Chiles on writing her own book
Jordan Chiles announced the March 2025 release of her book, "I'm That Girl: Living The Power Of My Dreams', in a conversation with USA Today in November. She said she always wanted to write her memoir since she was a child.
"This memoir was something that I've always wanted to do ever since I was little. I told my parents one day I wanna write a book about my story and I only wanted to do that because life from the very beginning of being a little kid was already crazy," Jordan Chiles said.
"I'm a miracle child, I'm a rainbow baby, there's already a lot of things. I'm named after Michael Jordan so those stories are things that I felt like people should actually read coming from the person and I think it's just gonna be very impactful."
The foreword of Chiles' memoir is written by decorated Olympic champion Simone Biles.
