After releasing the Paris Olympic kits for track and field athletes, Nike has revealed the singlets for the wrestling team ahead of the 2024 Summer Games. The reveal grabbed the attention of the fans, who had divided opinions on the kits.

The Paris Olympic kit for athletics was released in April 2024, which created a lot of controversy due to its design and structure. Similarly, USA Wrestling has shared the picture of both men's and women's singlets on X (formerly Twitter), which garnered mixed reactions from the fans.

The men's gear was blue with orange prints on it along with the USA's flag added on its sides, while the women's singlet was orange in color with stripes and stars on both its legs. These were revealed at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum (via USAWrestling on X):

"Nike has gone so far down hill it’s not even funny," they wrote.

On the contrary, another follower praised the women's singlet and wrote:

"Women's singlet is straight heat."

Another fan complimenting the outfit, said:

One of the users drew comparisons between the wrestling singlet and the track and field kits and said:

Katie Moon opens up about the Paris Olympic track and field kit

After Nike released the Paris Olympic kit for track and field, it faced criticism from multiple track and field members on its design for women athletes. However, Katie Moon had a different opinion on it. The pole vault champion tried to clear the confusion around the outfit by trying them on and giving her take on her X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Moon said that the attire looked uncomfortable just on the mannequins and not when they were worn. However, she also added that this was just her opinion about the singlets and that all the bodies are different:

"If this can help put women's mind at ease a bit, I tried on the same style today and didn't feel worried about things popping out," Katie Moon said. "I think it's just the mannequin. This felt like the last kit just a slightly higher cut. I know every body is different tho so just my take," she wrote on her X handle.

She further tried to give a clearer understanding of the outfit by explaining its features, while noting that people's concerns about it were valid.

"This is it off the body. I think because there's room in the butt, and it's tight from top to bottom in the front, on the slippery mannequin with no skin to hold it in place, it can only pull up and forward. But the concerns seeing it on the mannequin are valid!!" she added.

Katie Moon will be looking to defend her title in the 2024 Paris Olympics after qualifying with a second-place finish at the Olympics trial with a mark of 4.73m. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she won the gold medal with 4.90m, trouncing Anzhelika Sidorova, who finished second.
