Noah Lyles and fiance Junelle Bromfield kickoff preparations for upcoming season, undergo uphill running drills at Adidas' Florida training center

Noah Lyles and his fiancee Junelle Bromfield have started training together for the 2025 track and field season. The pair enjoyed incredible success in the 2024 season with Lyles winning the coveted 100m Olympic title while Bromfield managed to break her personal best in the 400m discipline.

Lyles and Bromfield met in 2017 and while they tried to start a romantic relationship, it didn't work out. They remained friends for several years before catching up again in early 2022.

Lyles and Bromfield announced their engagement in October 2024 after dating for two years and have now bought a new house for themselves. The couple have also started the preparations for the 2025 season.

Both Lyles and Bromfield are coached by Lance Brauman at the Adidas Florida Training Center and were spotted training with the rest of the group on Monday, November 11. Lyles and Bromfield were undergoing various kinds of uphill running drills and trained beside each other.

Lyles arguably had the best season of his career over the 100m, breaking his personal best twice while winning the 100m title at the Paris Olympics. Bromfield was impressive as well and fought retirement thoughts earlier in the season before breaking her personal best in the 400m to make the Olympic team.

Shortly after starting their romantic relationship in 2022, Junelle Bromfield moved to the USA to train under Lance Brauman, who also coached Noah Lyles. The pair have been training together since and claim to have struck a good balance between being training partners and dating.

"Even before we started dating, we had a very good balance. We’d show up to quite a few track meets that we were both at and, we weren’t dating at the time, but nobody would know that we knew each other. We had our own mindset and our own headspace," Lyles said on the Fast Lane Lifestyle podcast (via People).

He added that he wasn't allowed to call Bromfield 'baby' during practice.

“She won’t even let me call her ‘baby’ at practice,” Lyles said.

However, the 27-year-old added that they enjoyed dancing together, an activity they have regularly boasted of on social media.
