Noah Lyles has ignited excitement for the upcoming track season with an electrifying announcement. Following a triumphant 2024 campaign, Lyles is gearing up to dominate once more, setting his sights on achieving even greater feats.

In a cinematic video posted on social media, Lyles unveiled his first competitive goal of the season. The multi-time Olympic medalist will make his highly anticipated return to the track at the upcoming New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, scheduled for February 2, 2025, at the renowned TRACK at New Balance in Brighton, Massachusetts.

The 2-minute-long video presents Lyles as an icon, with a voiceover by his fiancé Junelle Bromfield which says:

"In every era, there comes one who redefines what is possible. A force unmatched, a name that echoes throughout time. They say he was fast but fast is just the beginning. He is the leader, the symbol, the fire that reminds us why we run, and now, when the world needs greatness most, he returns to inspire, to dominate, to show us once again that anything is possible. For he is not just another runner. He is a champion, a legend, a force ready to take on the world. Noah Lyles. The icon."

The video not only captivated fans but also other athletes, including his fiance and long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall.

Bromfield graced the comment section and wrote:

"The icon ❤️🔥."
"Hold on. This is so hard," Davis-Woodhall wrote.

The 100m hurdles Olympic champion Masai Russell admired the video, writing:

"That’s hard."

Noah Lyles recently discussed his approach to success, which involves preparing in all aspects, including physical and mental. He highlighted that being surrounded by individuals who share his drive for excellence continually motivates him to strive for greater heights. He said:

“I look at a situation it's like I'm going to prepare with each step I take whether that's diet whether that's mentally, whether that's the team around me and making sure that everybody else is at the same mental fortitude of 'hey I want to be the best in whatever craft I'm in.' You know that type of mentality constantly pushing me forward and at the end of the day to be honest.” (1:16 onwards)

At the 2024 Paris Games, Noah Lyles clinched his first Olympic gold medal by winning the 100m event.
