Tara Davis-Woodhall recently announced that she voiced the character of Gabi in the movie BIONIC, streaming on Netflix. This caught the attention of athletes such as Noah Lyles, Grant Holloway, and several others, who lauded the athlete for her feature in the movie.
The movie directed by Afonso Poyart, portrays a dystopian future where sports are redefined by robotic prosthetics and two sisters compete against each other in long jump, which eventually leads them down a path of crime and violence. Davis-Woodhall has dubbed the voice of one of the sisters, Gabi, and expressed her excitement about it on social media.
The American hurdler shared the trailer and behind-the-scenes of the movie on her Instagram account and wrote in the caption:
"The possibilities are endless! I'm so excited to finally announce that I voiced the character of GABI in the movie BIONIC, now available to stream on Netflix."
Noah Lyles expressed his awe at this accomplishment and commented,
"This is amazing!!"
Grant Holloway also praised her, stating
"Let's go🔥"
Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband, Hunter Woodhall expressed his happiness and stated,
"I'm gonna jump 15m."
American sprinter Masai Russell also lauded the long-jump athlete.

Tara Davis-Woodhall recently lauded her husband Hunter Woodhall for his second-place finish in the T64 100m discipline at the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships on May 20. She praised her husband on X and tweeted,
"So proud of my husband! First championship back and kickin a**."
The American long jump athlete also celebrated her husband's feats at the 2024 US Paralympics Track and Field National Championships. He bagged two titles in the 100m and T62 400m. The 25-year-old, who beamed with pride on her social media, shared a series of pictures with him and paired them with a heartfelt caption.
"Proud of you, champ. To watch your learn and grow is unbelieveable," said Tara Davis-Woodhall. You are the best to ever do it! & doing it with joy thats what I;m most proud of. Just out there having fun, and runnin' fast. let's go further."
Davis-Woodhall opened her 2024 outdoor season by clocking a world lead of 7.16m in the long jump at the Arkansas Twilight, and later surpassing that with a 7.17m jump in the Adidas Atlantic City Games. Now, she is gearing up for the Olympic Trials 2024, slated to be held from June 21-30.
