Shericka Jackson recently qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 after producing a dominant performance at the Jamaican Olympic trials. Jackson is a two-time Olympian and one-time Olympic gold medalist. She has gracefully represented her country in the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is now poised to compete at the 2024 Summer Games as well. She delivered an exceptional performance in the Jamaican Olympic trials and will be competing in the 100m and 200m dash races.
The Jamaican athlete turned 30 on July 16 and has shared stunning pictures from her birthday. She donned a golden-colored, shiny body-fitting attire and paired it with beautiful silver earrings. Jackson also added a long caption to her post, wishing herself a happy birthday. She expressed gratitude and stated that she was proud of herself.
"I am a year older on this beautiful day. And it’s all possible because of your incredible live and mercies God, I can’t thank you enough for bringing me this far in life. Thank you for blessing me with life, good health, joy, happiness and peace of mind. I am proud of the person I have become and all the obstacles I have overcome," Shericka Jackson wrote.
American sprinter Noah Lyles, who shares the same zodiac sign with Jackson, wished her on the special day:

Shericka Jackson opens up about her mindset for the Paris Olympics
Jamaican athlete Shericka Jackson recently opened up about her thought process heading into the Paris Olympics, where she revealed her intention of breaking the legendary track athlete Florence Griffith-Joyner's world record.
In a recent interview with Citius Mag, she spoke about featuring in her third Olympic Games.
"Yes, the world record is on our minds but it's not something we are going to dwell on Instagram every race," Shericka Jackson said. "Once I’m healthy and once I'm in peak form, anything is possible. I am the athlete and my coach will prepare me for the right time."
Shericka Jackson showcased a dominant face during the Jamaican trials. She stood atop the podium in the 200m finals and qualified for the Paris Olympics after clocking 22.89s. She also won the 100m dash, recording 10.84s in the trials.
The 30-year-old will be competing against the likes of Sha'Carri Richardson in the 100m at the 2024 Summer Games.
