Olivia Dunne is making the most of her time away from the gym before she gears up for her final NCAA season with the LSU Tigers. Recently, the social media star made an appearance at an NHL game, cheering for the New Jersey Devils.
Dunne is a New Jersey native herself, having been born in Westwood and raised in Hillsdale. The 22-year-old regularly posts on social media platforms, giving fans glimpses into her everyday life.
Now, the American is enjoying the holidays as she prepares to represent the LSU Tigers for her fifth and final NCAA season. Dunne attended Monday night's NHL game, where the New Jersey Devils beat the New York Rangers 5-0. The official account of the NHL shared a video of the gymnast in the stadium, where she says,
“Hey it's Livvy Dunne, I'm so excited to be back at a Devils game. Go Devils!”
Dunne later reposted this video to her Instagram stories, writing,
“Hockey is cool.
On her stories, she also shared snaps of herself posing with fans, and a video of a fight breaking out between two players mid-game. She wrote:
“Spreading Christmas joy ♥️ Go Devils tho.”
Olivia Dunne graduates from Louisiana State University
A few days ago, Olivia Dunne officially graduated from Louisiana State University. The gymnast majored in interdisciplinary studies and impressed as a student athlete. In 2021, she made it to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll and was also named a WCGA Academic All-American. Dunne also made it to the 2022 SEC Academic Honor Roll, 2023 and 2024 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, and was named a 2024 WCGA Academic All-American.
Upon graduating from LSU, Olivia Dunne shared pictures of her commencement ceremony, where she was dressed in a white dress, which she paired with transparent heels, along with a graduation gown and cap. She captioned the photos,
“Forever LSU.”
Despite having completed her academic journey with LSU, Dunne will compete for the Tigers for one final season next year. In 2024, she was a part of the team that made program history when they won the NCAA team championships.
However, individually, the gymnast was only able to compete in nine meets. In those meets, she achieved a career high of 9.900 on floor at the Podium Challenge. She repeated this feat at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional Second Round. She also registered a season best of 9.875 on the uneven bars. Dunne and the LSU Tigers will be back in action on January 3 for their first meet of the next season.
