Paul Skenes recently opened up about how Olivia Dunne helps him navigate the challenges of social media fame. Given Dunne's experience, Skenes stated that she has been a valuable guide for him in handling the pressure and complexity of online fame.

The couple went public after Dunne shared a selfie donning a Pittsburg Pirates cap. The two first met on the LSU campus, where Dunne would occasionally spot him around, though she didn't know who he was.

It wasn't until she saw him in a dugout during a baseball game that things clicked. Soon after, they went on a casual ice-cream date and they have been going strong ever since.

As Dunne made her return to the LSU Gymnastics squad for her super senior year, Skenes concluded his 2024 season on a high note, earning the National League’s Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year Award.

However, while speaking to MLB.com, he stated that since Dunne gained social media stardom earlier, she has been a key guide in helping him navigate the massive online attention he's now receiving.

"Yeah, I think so. She got to that point in her life a little bit earlier than I did. So, with the Draft and all of that, she was able to help me with those experiences. And I think I’m able to help her. We’re definitely able to share some of those experiences and help each other out."

While Olivia Dunne has amassed a huge following of 5.4M on Instagram and 159.2k on X, the Pittsburg Pirates Pitcher is also gaining a new following with 570k followers on Instagram at present.

Following her return to the collegiate gymnastics circuit for her fifth year, Olivia Dunne opened up on the levels of conditioning in the sport. In an interview with Best of Both Worlds with Flau'jae, she highlighted the goal of making difficult moves look effortless in gymnastics.

"Gymnastics is obviously your own body weight and your job is to make it look easy like you if you're not making it look easy then you're not doing it right so you actually need to be strong enough to make it look like 'oh I'm just going to take a few steps and do a round off by can spring double back like or double' like you need to make it look easy." (12:50 onwards)

Olivia Dunne returned to make her appearance for the fifth year after contributing to the squad's historic win of earning the NCAA Championship for the first time last season.
