Olivia Dunne has set her goals clear for 2025 as she awaits her final and fifth season with LSU Gymnastics. The gymnast won her maiden NCAA Gymnastics Championships in 2024 and is looking to add one more title in her final year.

Dunne shared a series of pictures from last month's LSU intra-squad meet as she bid farewell to 2024 and claimed her goal for the new year was the same as last year - to win the national title with the Lady Tigers.

"New year 🔜 same goal," she captioned the post.

Dunne competed on the floor and uneven bars during the 2024 season, averaging impressive scores of 9.857 and 9.838 respectively. She scored a career-high of 9.900 on the floor twice en route to LSU's national triumph at the Podium Challenge and NCAA Fayetteville Regional Second Round.

While the 22-year-old didn't compete during the NCAA Finals against California, Utah, and Florida, she was honored with the Coaches Award for being available for the team at every moment. The Lady Tigers were led by Haleigh Bryant and Aleah Finnegan in the Finals, scoring 198.2250 to clinch the program's first-ever national title.

Dunne was over the moon following the victory and said it had rejuvenated her love for the sport. The NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) star announced she wanted to feel that happiness again, prompting her to make use of her extra-year of COVID-19 eligibility and return for a fifth and final year for one more shot at national glory, which starts on January 3rd against Iowa State.

Olivia Dunne joined LSU in 2020 after forgoing her elite gymnastics career and pursuing a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies as her major. She recently completed the course and received her degree during the commencement ceremony on December 20 alongside teammate Alyona Shchennikova.

The 22-year-old shared a series of pictures wearing the white graduation dress and dark purple cap and gown outside the Tigers stadium, and sharing her love for the school, she wrote:

"Forever LSU🐯."

She also celebrated the occasion with a customary TikTok video in the same dress, dancing to Post Malone's viral hit "Celebrations".

Dunne received the Scholastic All-American honor for her classroom brilliance for the second time in 2024 and now plans to enroll in a grad school, having hinted at going into the Business or Sports Administration side of things.
