Olivia Dunne and the LSU Tigers have begun their 2025 NCAA season, and the team recently competed at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. In attendance to cheer for the gymnast was none other than her boyfriend and MLB Rookie of the Year, Paul Skenes. As the Pirates’ pitcher showed his support for Dunne, she was quick to express her appreciation for the same.
Dunne and Skenes first began dating sometime in early 2023, when both of them were student-athletes at the University of Louisiana. The gymnast's roommate, Elena Marenas, happened to be dating a friend of Skenes's and set the two of them up with each other. The baseball star confirmed their relationship in an interview in August 2023, and the couple has been inseparable since, often giving fans glimpses of their life together.
Most recently, Skenes came to Oklahoma to cheer for Olivia Dunne as she competed at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad in her fifth and final year with the LSU Tigers. Taking to his Instagram stories, the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher shared a video of his girlfriend competing in the floor exercise event. Dunne reposted this story and added a pink heart to show her appreciation.
Prior to the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, Paul Skenes had also been present at Dunne's season debut on January 3, when she and the Tigers competed against Iowa State. The gymnast has been similarly supportive of her boyfriend's career and has made appearances at multiple MLN games to cheer him on.
