LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne's boyfriend Paul Skenes was in attendance as she impressed on her 2025 debut. The Tigers are the defending NCAA champions.
LSU were competing against the Iowa State University at the NCAA Championships, where Dunne would be appearing for one last time, as a super senior representing the Louisiana State University.
When Dunne performed her routine, to everyone's surprise, the camera zoomed in on Skenes, who had come out to cheer her. The 22-year-old scored an impressive 9.825 on her routine, giving her team the edge over the Iowa State.
Skenes and Dunne have been dating each other for a long time, though it was in August 2023, that the couple confirmed that they had been dating each other. Paul Skenes represents the baseball club Pittsburgh Pirates.
Interestingly, the couple had went out on a double date at the same Bourbon Street in New Orleans which was subject to a terror attack on the New Year's Day. The couple had narrowly escaped the attack.
Olivia Dunne has been a part of the LSU Tigers' gymnastics team that won the NCAA Championships which were held in 2024. As a super senior, she will be hoping to emulate her performance for one last time in 2025.
