Alica Schmidt updated about her return to the track and preparation for the 2025 season. The German runner and social media influencer, who competed at the Paris Olympics, came fresh off her off-season trip, covering Thailand, Italy, and the Maldives.

Schmidt qualified in the 4x400m mixed relay squad for the Paris Olympics but couldn't earn a podium. Despite an unfortunate ending to her journey in the French capital, the 25-year-old penned a note of gratitude after running alongside inspiring athletes and celebrating diversity on the global stage. Schmidt also assured her fans that she would figure out ways to polish her athletic skills and return with a better form.

Following her Paris Olympic exploits, she dropped four-week vacation posts on Instagram, spanning Italy, Thailand, and the Maldives. The German posted a picture carousel on her Instagram, featuring her scuba diving, jet ski ride, posing in picturesque locations, enjoying leisure time in a hammock, and having dinner dates with her friends.

On October 20, 2024, Alica Schmidt confirmed her first-week return to the track, having set her sights on the 2025 season.

"First week back, season 25‘ loading .. #trackandfield #running," she captioned.

In another Instagram post from the previous month, the European U20 Championships silver medalist shared some pointers for her social media family, ahead of the 2025 season.

"2025 is in less than 4 months. Don’t let anybody waste your time. Be intentional about your time and who you spend it with. Get aligned with your goals and be brave enough to make new choices," her caption read.

Alica Schmidt turned heads at the 2024 Milan Fashion Week, having walked the ramp for Boss alongside great sports personalities like tennis players, Matteo Berrettini and Taylor Fritz and German soccer player Loris Karius, among others.

Schmidt was part of the 600m roster at the 2024 ISATF Berlin. She clocked 1:24.88 and finished with bronze behind Kenyan sprinter Mary Moraa and Shafiqua Maloney of St. Vincent. Taking to her Instagram, Schmidt penned a farewell note for her fellow German sprinter and best friend, Christina Hering, and expressed satisfaction about her race, too.

"What an emotional day. Standing side my side with my bestie @runningfischi who had the last race of her career... Also I‘m super happy with my performance today, it was a new experience and was lots of fun," the caption read.

Alica Schmidt also traveled to Tokyo as part of the German relay squad for the Olympic Games in 2021 but couldn't compete. Besides track, she also served as a fitness coach for Borussia Dortmund.
