Rebeca Andrade is Brazil's biggest gymnastics star and she had an incredible season in 2024, winning multiple medals at the Paris Olympics. Now, the Olympic champion is enjoying her much-needed offseason and recently shared a glimpse of herself spending some time poolside in black swimwear.
Andrade first caught the attention of audiences in 2016, when she qualified for the all-around finals of the Rio Olympics, where she placed 11th. In 2021, she competed at her second Olympic Games, winning gold in the vault and silver in the all-around. That same year, she was crowned World Champion on the vault. Since then, Andrade has gone on to win four more Olympic medals and eight more World Championships medals, making her the most successful Brazilian gymnast of all time.
Recently, Rebeca Andrade gave fans a glimpse of herself enjoying her offseason after a busy 2024. She shared a video of herself spending some time beside a pool, dressed in a black two-piece swimsuit. She captioned the story,

Rebeca Andrade’s 2024 season was absolutely incredible. She qualified for her third consecutive Games at the Paris Olympics and gave the performance of a lifetime. She led Brazil to bronze in the team event, before going on to win silver in the all-around and vault behind Simone Biles. She wrapped up her campaign in Paris by outdoing Biles on the floor finals to claim her second Olympic gold medal.
After the Games, Andrade has been enjoying some time away from gymnastics and recently gave fans a glimpse of her Christmas celebrations. Taking to her Instagram, she shared snaps of herself posing with her dogs in matching pajamas underneath a Christmas tree, writing,
“My most precious gift. 0 maturity for 3 in the same pajamas. Having a fabulous Christmas.”
Rebeca Andrade has originally planned to call time on her gymnastics career after the 2024 Paris Olympics, but the Brazilian has hinted that she will be returning to competitions in the coming years. Taking to her Instagram after the Games, she wrote,
“I thought that this year I would come here to put an end to my gymnastics career, but it looks like I have other goals and plans to follow. My 2024 sport cycle was nice and bright, but my personal cycle was GIANT! Sooner and later I will be back!”
Andrade’s exploits on the international gymnastics stage have made her the most successful Brazilian Olympian of all time. She is also one of only 11 women in the history of the sport to have medaled in every event of the World Championships.
