After five successful and thrilling meetings, the elite track and field athletes will step on the track to prove their potential at the 2024 Oslo Diamond League ahead of the Paris Olympics. The 2024 Oslo Diamond League is scheduled on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway.
The Oslo Meeting will feature multiple events for athletes, including the 100m, 200, 800m, 400m hurdles, pole vault and discus throw. The events will feature star-studded lineups with Olympians and World Champions locking horns including, Marcell Jacobs, Shericka Jackson, Alexis Holmes, and Yohan Blake.

Marcell Jacobs and Akani Simbine will lock horns in the 100m at the 2024 Oslo Diamond League
The men's 100m event at the 2024 Oslo Diamond League promises to be a nail-biting event with the likes of Marcell Jacobs, Akani Simbine, and Yohan Blake. After finishing second to Andre de Grasse with a time of 10.11 seconds at the East Coast Relays, Jacobs improved to 10.07 seconds at the Roma Sprint Festival on May 18, 2024.
He will face Simbine, who recently clocked a world lead with 9.90 seconds at the 2024 Adidas Atlanta City Games. The Italian and the South African sprinters will face the Jamaican duo, consisting of Blake and Rohan Watson.
After withdrawing from the Shanghai Diamond League due to a hamstring injury and finishing in eighth place at the Rabat Diamond League Meeting, Blake will compete at the Oslo Diamond League to prove his prospects for competing in his last Olympics in the French capital.
Along with men's 100m, the women's 200m is poised to be an electrifying event with the two-time world championships gold medalist Shericka Jackson contending against prime sprinters, including Brittany Brown, Anavia Battle, and Daryll Neita. Jackson secured her first 200m victory in the Olympic year at the Rabat Diamond League after clocking an impressive time of 22.82 seconds.
Alexis Holmes, who led the American squad to victory in the 4x400m relay at the 2023 World Athletics Championships will compete in the women's 400m against Lieke Klaver and Laviai Nielsen. After finishing seventh and sixth at the Doha and Rabat Meetings, respectively, Quincy Hall will face Matthew Hudson-Smith in the men's 400m.
