“Just keep going, like there’s so many doubters and haters. You’ve been told no so many times. You can't do this; you can't do that, like what you want to do, give yourself a chance. Give your like that's how we survived this year; we gave ourself a chance, don't give up on your dreams; don't give up on like anything, that you want to do, because at the end of the day you only have yourself, and are you going to be satisfied with that?” [1:00:47 onwards]

With this, Davis-Woodhall reflected on their determination and how they managed to navigate their journey and reach the top spot in the Olympics. She mentioned that doubts “fuel” her and that “it used to hurt her”.

“When I moved to Arkansas they were like, 'She, she's never going to jump 7 metres again. She should just stick to social media because that's where, that's her future,'” said Tara Davis-Woodhall [1:02:19 onwards].

The two-time Continental Cup gold winner further inquired Davis-Woodhall how the questions regarding her talents started motivating her. The rising athlete replied by mentioning her motivational thought process and how she has successfully managed to get ahead due to the same.
