The 2024 edition of the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland saw a thrilling contest between the contestants. The event witnessed numerous local athletes from in and around the region of Finland showing their prowess on the global stage.

The tournament saw Marcell Jacobs, the two-time Olympic gold medalist, dominate the Men's 100m event as he also breached the 10s mark for the first time in the last two years.

Jacobs was pushed quite strongly by his Italian countryman, Chituru Ali who finished with a silver at the Paavo Nurmi Games 2024 and registered a run time of 9.96. The Canadian athlete, Andre De Grasse, finished in the third position in 10.00 seconds.
