Paris Olympics 2024 Day 13: Medal Events for Team USA on 8 Aug ft. Noah Lyles in 200m, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in 400mH, Grant Holloway in 110mH

Day twelve of the 2024 Paris Olympics saw the United States athletes secure eight medals, comprising three gold, four silver, and one bronze. With this, the nation continues to lead in the overall medal tally with a total of 94 medals, which includes 27 gold, 35 silver, and 32 bronze medals.

On August 7 at the Paris Olympics, gold medals were awarded to the women's team pursuit in cycling, consisting of Olivia Cummins, Chloé Dygert, Kristen Faulkner, Jennifer Valente, and Lily Williams, Quincy Hall in the men's 400m athletics event, and Sarah Hildebrandt in the women's freestyle 50kg wrestling event, owing to their brilliant performances.

Meanwhile, the artistic swimming team, Katie Moon in women’s pole vault, Kenneth Rooks in men’s 3000m steeplechase, and Tom Schaar in Skateboarding - men’s park bagged the silver medals for the USA on Day 12 at the Paris Olympics. While Hampton Morris won the nation a historic bronze in Weightlifting in the men’s 61kg.

On Day 13 of the quadrennial games, the United States will hope to extend its dominance with more gold medals, as prominent names like Noah Lyles, Kenny Bednarek, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Grant Holloway, and Tara Davis-Woodhall will be in action in medal events.
