Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall once spoke about how people speculated about their breakup. The couple concluded their 2024 season weeks ago after winning their first gold medals at the Paris Olympics.

The track couple appeared in a podcast, named Shawn & Andrew Podcast, two years ago in 2022, where they spoke about their dating life. They appeared as newlyweds in this podcast and were asked about the changes they felt after getting married as compared to when they were dating.

On this, the paralympic athlete first jokingly replied that he would name all his bills on his wife and then shared that people always anticipated that they would break up during their four-year dating period.

"Um, I'm putting her name on all the bills, a lot cheaper for me," jokingly said Hunter Woodhall." I don't know, I think the bit actually I do know, what I think my expectation is that people outside of our relationship will take us more seriously like we were dating for four years and people very much treat it as like, oh, you're dating, you're two separate people, you're not like if that makes sense it's like almost like with the anticipation of you breaking it up." He continued:

"Oh well, that's just not going to last, tell your situation, so now, it's like we're coming, we're going to wherever we're going as the Woodhalls, like as a married couple, not as Tara and Hunter individually being somewhere."
