Tara Davis-Woodhall recently shared words of wisdom and urged her followers to be kind during difficult times. The long jump athlete won her first-ever Olympic gold medal in the 2024 season.

The American proved her billing as a formidable athlete after producing a dominant performance in the long-jump event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She jumped 7.01m and won the first Olympic gold medal of her career, trouncing the defending champion Malaika Mihambo, who secured a second-place finish.

The athlete enjoyed her off-season by celebrating it with her husband, Hunter Woodhall. Davis-Woodhall also started a new role as an assistant coach for the Kansas State University Track and Field team and has moved from Arkansas to Kansas for the job.

The 25-year-old recently shared a carousel of pictures, showcasing her new country outfit, a blue-colored rugged denim dungaree paired with a white-colored t-shirt, and also flaunted her gold-colored boots. She shared multiple pictures with various poses in a field and penned a note for her followers, detailing how to deal with difficult situations. The post's caption read:

"New boot goofin 🤩 "

She added:

"Things may feel weird and strange during this time. But please remember we are all human, trying to navigate this big world. All the questions and fears are valid. Just remember one thing. Be kind. We are all dealing with this in different ways. Be kind to your neighbors even if they don’t agree with you. We need to remember that at the end of the day we only have each other. Stay blessed and love hard. We only get this life once. ✨"

Tara Davis-Woodhall opened up about her gold medal win at the Paris Olympics

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE magazine, Tara Davis-Woodhall spoke about her disbelief in her gold medal win. She said that she still finds her picture with the gold medal around her neck 'crazy.'

"It's still so crazy to see a picture of me with a gold medal around my neck, or going to events and them saying Tara Woodhall, the Olympic gold champion. It's just still so freaking weird," said Tara Davis-Woodhall.

She also spoke about finding a permanent place for her medal:

"Yeah, it goes everywhere with me. I'm sure it will have a home, a dedicated home in our office or something, but right now she just lives in my purse."

Along with this, she also spoke about her plans for the upcoming 2025 season, calling it a year of growth for her:

"It'll be to just embrace the feeling of being the newly reigning Olympic champion, and just going out and jumping and competing with just the joy of that. There's nothing really hanging over my head anymore of like, 'I need to be this, I need to have this.' 2025 should just be a year of growing and rebuilding of what we did this year."

Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband, Hunter Woodhall, also won the first gold medal of his career in the Paris Paralympics.
